One of the long-lasting elements of athletics in schools is the teaching of sportsmanship. Sportsmanship is built on a foundation of compassion, honor, and respect for others. Each of these are threaded throughout the teachings of Jesus Christ, and, therefore, have an important place in the programs at Bishop Kelley.
We expect all members of our community to exhibit the characteristics of sportsmanship in all of their words and actions as a demonstration of the overall mission of the community. Although athletic competition is heavily tied to emotions, it is important to our community that we always represent the highest level of sportsmanship.
